From the manual

Reference only. Values are the unshielded U.S. clearances from the manufacturer's installation manual, shown with the manual revision. The certification label on the stove and your local code always govern. Reduced clearances with heat shields, alcove, lowered ceiling and mobile home rules are in the manual. The stove is drawn as a simplified block sized to the published dimensions. Hearth pad sizes are rounded up to the next half inch and measured from the stove's front face, which is equal to or slightly more generous than the manual's measurement from the door opening.
